Sozni Embroidery
Sozni is a microscopic needlework technique unique to Kashmir. Using a needle as fine as a pine needle, master artisans trace incredibly intricate floral and paisley motifs across the fabric. A single masterpiece can take over a year of continuous, meditative dedication to complete.
